The operation
Star Charters is a Part 135 charter operator based in Fairbanks, Alaska.
One Cessna 207 on wheels, flown by professional pilots, available as a whole aircraft for the trip you need rather than the schedule somebody else set.
Part 135 is the certificate the FAA issues to on-demand charter operators. It is the difference between a company that can legally fly you for hire and one that cannot, and it comes with training, maintenance, and operating requirements that apply on every flight.
We are preparing this operation now. Stay tuned for the actual launch date.
The whole airplane is yours
No other passengers, no schedule but yours. You decide when it leaves and when it comes back.
Gear comes too
Rifles, coolers, tools, building materials, game meat on the way home. Tell us the weight and the longest item and we will tell you if it goes.
A pilot reads every request
Not a booking engine. Somebody who has flown the country you are asking about picks up the phone.
What we will not do
We are on wheels, not floats. If your destination is a lake, we will find you the closest strip and tell you honestly if that does not work.
We do not sell seats. Star Charters is whole-aircraft charter. If you are looking for one seat on somebody else's flight, we are the wrong call and we will say so.
We do not fly weather we do not like. A trip that gets moved is a trip that happens. We would rather tell you Thursday on Monday than tell you nothing on Wednesday.
